"Switched to State Farm because of cheaper rate for my wife and I. I paid for the insurance and was told everything was good to go. Left feeling pretty good about the switch.Found out 3 months later I didn’t have boaters insurance from the bank holding my boat lien. Called State Farm and tried to get confirmation of insurance. They told me the underwriter had A question about my boat and tried to get a hold of me. When they couldn’t reach me, they canceled the policy without notifying me. The lady then confirmed they didn’t have my phone number updated. So how did they contact me??? No emails were sent either. This mistake by State Farm cost me an extra $1,400 for insurance tacked onto the loan by my banks insurance department. Been with State Farm for 4 months and looking for another insurance company."
"I am always upset to hear that someone had a bad experience with my team. It causes me to research what happened in detail, especially when I hear about it for the first time via a google review. This puts us at odds because what I found doesn't exactly line up with this review. I found that we did need information. I show that four phone calls were made. Two of those were made to your wife and two to your active work cell number. It happens to be the phone that you called in your inquiry on. We left multiple voicemails and sent a letter to your home. When we didn't get any response then the company takes action. We can't control that in the office. All of these things are time stamped in the system and can't be altered, after the fact.
I am truly sorry that this happened. We can do better. We can try to email for a response as well. We also updated your phone to your personal cell versus work cell. We will do better about getting that squared away up front. I don't want to lose you as a customer. I truly don't. I can't let this kind of review stand and not address it with the inconsistencies either. I hope that we can come to a resolution with each other rather than online. "

"State farm is the greatest. What can I say? They actually contacted me to review my insurance and I've had other insurance companies that would just take your money and not even talk to you. I was with one insurance company over 30 years and they only talk to me twice in those 30 years but they enjoy taking my money since my husband passed away. I'm having a deal with this and I finally found State farm I can trust and they're always there for me. That means a great deal

"State Farm is horrible when it comes to filing a claim. You pay insurance and don't even get to use it when something happens to your property."
"It is always interesting to me that someone goes to google to say this rather than talking to me about their situation. I honestly don't know who posted this, but I can say this with confidence. State Farm filed 14,000 claims in roughly 6 days after April hailstorm. The feedback that I have received from customers that filed is that it went great. If you would ever like to have someone work with you on this, please give us a call. "
